Business Development and Technical SME, Senior Manager Key Role: Serve as a senior leader to work within Booz Allen's engineering and science ( E & S ) team to drive b us iness development and lead te chn ical solutioning for engineering, research and development ( R & D ) , integration, and development opportunities for a Navy client. Develop, so cia lize, and execute a rob us t b us iness growth strategy that leads to the growth of client b us iness and act as the primary client contact. Engage and work closely with market-team peers and external clients to develop a pipeline, drive new b us iness growth, and lead proposal and b us iness development activities. Challenge and improve the baseline b us iness constantly and conceptualize and propose new capability ideas for future growth based on client needs. Develop and maintain local relationships throughout the ind us try and government. Propose novel te chn ical solutions. Direct all phases of contract execution and delivery with responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance, planning, resourcing, hiring, and risk management for successful te chn ical performance. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with leading capture activities for government acquisitions 5+ years of experience with te chn ical or engineering work in the surface or airborne maritime domain 5+ years of experience with leading a large number of employees (50+) performing disparate tasks 5+ years of experience with developing and executing b us iness strategies to achieve successful, quality growth Experience with client and ind us try relationships across the US Navy Knowledge of DoD government contracts, acquisition, and proposal processes K nowledge of Navy organizations at the Echelon II and Echelon III level. Ability to comprehendand initiate discussions associated with Spectrum Warfare or Expeditionary Warfare systems. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Additional Qualifications: Experience with Navy Warfare Center missions Experience with NSWC crane strategic, electronic warfare ( EW ) , or expeditionary missions Secret clearance Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
