DPP is seeking a Business Development Associate to join our team in Columbia, SC.
The Business Development Associate is primarily responsible for the development of sales and market expansion strategies that will lead to sustained growth and increased market share throughout the Southeast.
Responsibilities:
Identify new Clients by conducting territory research and by attending targeted networking opportunities.
Screen potential Clients by reviewing market share and previous relationship opportunities and obstacles.
Work to broaden and strengthen the DPP brand identity in the Technology Recruiting marketplace by cold calling, conducting in-person meetings, and partnering with networking contacts.
Propose and close new business contracts that adhere to DPP's profitability and long-term growth opportunity standards.
Develop an activity plan for specified time periods and bring plan to fruition.
Minimum requirements:
Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing in the English language.
Ability to effectively develop and manage relationships with multiple clients.
Ability to represent DPP in a professional manner both in person and via phone conversations.
Proven experience and track record with reaching business development goals.
Able to travel to visit Clients sites as needed.
Prefer to have strong working knowledge of the staffing and recruiting industry.
