As the Business Development Director, Americas at Circle, you will report to the VP of Business Development, Americas, and be directly responsible for the validation, incubation, and commercialization of key product and segment initiatives. This role is remote-first in the US, allowing for flexibility and a diverse work environment.
ResponsibilitiesLead new product and/or Business GTM efforts across product pillars.Originate and manage a portfolio of strategic opportunities, drive partnership momentum, and develop & execute comprehensive GTM plans for key initiatives.Validate new product ideas, use cases, and stress-test product market fit by actively engaging with new and existing partners and gathering market feedback.Lead Go/No-go leadership decision on moving development forward.Sign first-of-kind partner(s) for product incubation, author and execute bilateral agreements, and work with cross-functional teams to land an MVP.Refine business model including economics/monetization plan.Graduate initiatives to being market ready, working cross-functionally.Requirements:12+ years of business development, product partnership, or product experience in a fintech or other financial services company. Crypto or payments preferred.Experience driving a cross-functional team to alignment with a thoughtful, data-driven approach.Demonstrated ability to work alongside technical resources and contribute to solution development for partner solutions.Demonstrated ability to negotiate and win high-impact strategic deals with a C-level audience.A strategic mindset with the ability to develop clear hypotheses on product-market fit and a go-to-market approach.Excellent pipeline management and ability to prioritize across an expansive set of initiatives to maximize business growth.Impeccable written and presentation skills in English.Deep passion for the mission of creating an inclusive financial future with transparency at the core.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building at the earliest stages.Strong commitment to improving company processes and helping partners and customers thrive.Base Pay Range: $195,000 – $252,500
