About the Role **This role has an On Target Earnings of $110,000** This is a unique opportunity to be the first Business Development Lead at Materialize Labs, playing a pivotal role in establishing and driving our outbound sales efforts.

As the first hire in this role, you will have a massive impact, not only by shaping our outbound lead generation strategy but by being a key driver in helping us achieve our ambitious goal of becoming THE dev shop in the Los Angeles region.

What Makes This Role Exciting Foundational Impact: You'll be the first to shape our outbound sales strategy, setting the foundation for future team growth. Entrepreneurial Spirit: This is a builder's role, perfect for someone who enjoys creating, iterating, and optimizing processes and prospect messaging. Opportunity for Growth: As our outbound sales efforts expand, this role will evolve into a full-cycle sales role, giving you the opportunity to own the entire sales process and close deals. Collaborative Vision: Work closely with leadership to drive Materialize Labs' mission/strategy and become a major player in the product development space. Requirements Requirements and Responsibilities Prospecting & Lead Qualification: Identifying high-value leads and qualifying them. Cold Outreach Mastery: Cold calling, targeted 1:1 emails, and LinkedIn outreach to create high-quality relationships. Sales Appointment Setting: Booking qualified meetings that lead to new business opportunities. Process Builder: Help develop and refine a scalable outbound lead generation process. Strong Writer: Understands how to send personalized, targeted, and relevant messaging to prospects.
Ideal Candidate 2-5+ years of experience in Dev Shop Sales, IT Staffing Sales or a similar field. Previous experience in product development is a major plus! Someone who is entrepreneurial, a self-starter, and enjoys building processes from scratch. Ideally based in the Los Angeles region. Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on quality interactions. Fully Remote with flexible hours (30-40 hours/week). Available for a full-time 1099 contract position.
