Rion Aesthetics (plated) Skin Science Business Development Manager Department: Sales Location: Houston, Texas Rion Aesthetics is a regenerative aesthetics company founded in Rochester, Minnesota, pioneering the use of platelet-derived exosome technology in investigational studies for skin care, hair restoration and facial wrinkles. Backed by over 15 years of visionary science, we aim to transform the regenerative aesthetic market to bring beauty from within. Our passion for aesthetics and core value of helping people achieve their aesthetic goals is reflected in our robust product portfolio and pipeline. We have investigational studies currently underway for hair restoration and facial wrinkles for potential FDA indications. From this investigational research, we also discovered the benefits of platelet extract on the skin. Through the launch of (plated)TM Skin Science, we will transform the skincare market using our revolutionary RenewosomeTM technology from platelet-extract to help rejuvenate the skin. Position Summary This position is for a Business Development Manager (BDM) at Rion Aesthetics, a spinoff of Rion, Inc., located in Rochester, MN. The BDM is responsible for generating sales in an assigned geographic territory. Call points will include Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, and Medical Spas. The BDM will exemplify business acumen to create and maintain plans for the direct sale of Rion Aesthetics' products to physicians and skin care professionals. The candidate should demonstrate a track record of strong sales performance along with a proven ability to open new businesses. In addition, the BDM will be required to develop a territory through lead generation and expanding business with the existing customer base. They must be proficient with clinical selling, product education, and providing high levels of customer service in the aesthetic-physician dispensing industry. The BDM will collaborate with their sales team and manager to execute corporate direction. Essential Functions Promote and sell products to current and potential customers in a defined geographic territory. Develop and initiate business tactics to increase sales for specific products. Demonstrate effective direct selling techniques and marketing strategies to grow the brands. Develop and execute training programs for physicians and staff. Coordinate and execute Open Houses and promotional events to increase sales and product pull- through. Build strong professional relationships with the customer base and provide high levels of customer service. Implement and execute key marketing strategies. Establish and maintain excellent communication and collaboration levels with co-workers, physicians, and staff. Establish a sound territory routing plan based on business priorities and budget. Manage territory budget to conform with company guidelines. Actively participate in scheduled sales meetings, conference calls, and other business functions. Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities A degree from a 4-year university is required. Minimum of 3 years in a B2B selling role with a preference for experience in skin care, medical device, or specialty pharmaceutical sales. Documented history of exceeding sales goals. Strong business acumen and aptitude for learning. Experience in roles that require high levels of customer service. Proficiency with goal setting, time management, organization skills, communication, relationship building, and problem-solving. Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and achieve sales goals in a fast-paced, direct selling environment. Competency with video conferencing and use of Microsoft Teams Ability to travel 30% of the time or greater, with overnight stays. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
