Business Development Officer (Cre/Franchise/C&I)

Position: Full-Time Onsite Business Development Officer in Harwood Heights, IL

We're offering a competitive salary with a base of up to $180k plus comprehensive benefits for an experienced Commercial Real Estate (CRE), Commercial & Industrial (C&I), and Franchise Loan Business Development Officer.

As a key member, you'll be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and nurturing new relationships with business owners. Your role involves meeting prospects in person to understand their business operations, financial priorities, and objectives. You'll take a proactive approach by educating and guiding potential customers, making outbound calls, visiting local businesses, and participating in networking activities to expand your network of contacts and influence.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify, acquire, and grow new business relationships with a focus on long-term customer needs.
Conduct needs assessments to understand business financial goals and priorities.
Present and explain appropriate business products and services options to meet customer needs.
Assist in onboarding new customers and build strong relationships with internal teams and partners to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending experience at VP level or above; C&I and Franchise experience is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
Ability to engage in meaningful financial conversations and follow up on commitments to ensure customer satisfaction.
