What you will do:
The Diversity Movement (TDM) have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative (BDR). The BDR will be a vital member of the TDM Marketing Team, responsible for engaging leads, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling meetings with the appropriate business development team members. This high-energy, outcomes-oriented role is perfect for someone who thrives in client-facing settings and is driven to make an impact. You'll play a crucial role in capturing vital details about every opportunity, ensuring the seamless hand-off of leads and contributing to TDM's overall mission. This role will work closely with the Director of Demand Generation to execute campaign initiatives.
As part of the TDM Marketing team, the BDR will help us extend our reach, driving real change for businesses and their employees by helping connect HR, DEI, and L&D leaders with our transformative solutions
Responsibilities:Lead Engagement & Qualification: Proactively contact leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn with a high-energy, engaging approach. Qualify opportunities by understanding the needs of potential clients and how TDM solutions fit their requirements. Appointment Setting: Set meetings for qualified leads with the appropriate sales associates, ensuring effective communication of key details and client expectations. CRM Management: Accurately maintain detailed notes and vital information in MS Dynamics 365 (experience with other CRMs also valued). Capture lead history, status updates, and ensure no details are missed during follow-ups. Collaboration with the Demand Generation Team: Actively contribute to team strategies by sharing insights from conversations, feedback on messaging, market research and recommendations for better lead engagement. Provide Feedback and Improve Processes: Help create a feedback loop between marketing campaigns and sales performance. Target Achievement: Exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads, scheduled appointments, and pipeline growth. A strong results-driven focus is essential in this role. Qualifications/Skills:
To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Communications 1-2 years in business development, sales, or a similar client-facing role (preferably B2B or SaaS). CRM experience required, preferably MS Dynamics 365, though other systems are acceptable. High energy and outgoing personality: You love engaging with clients and are naturally enthusiastic in your communication. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills: You enjoy keeping notes, tracking follow-ups, and capturing key insights during every conversation. Driven and results-focused: Motivated by hitting and exceeding goals, constantly seeking improvement in your approach. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to quickly build rapport. What we offer:
