Position Summary:
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to identify qualified leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new opportunities.
The representative will present our products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as research to present how our solutions meet the needs of Vacation Rental Companies.
They will implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company goals as well as participate in identifying best practices for refining the TruPlace sales playbook.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, research, identify, and proactively seek new business opportunities with Vacation Rental Companies in qualified markets.
Prepare and execute sales campaigns including promotions and presentations through cold calls, emails, and meetings.
Manage a sales pipeline from discovery to close by maintaining a full schedule of meetings with prospective clients and updating the CRM with activity.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and partners.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
3-5 years of B2B sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets
2-4 years of Vacation Rental industry experience
Other Qualifications and requirements
Strong communication skills: active listening, written, and verbal
Experience with CRM applications and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
Organized and process driven
Responsible and dependable
Independent, highly motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn
More Details
The various responsibilities and achievements will directly impact company goals and provide opportunity for personal and professional growth.
This is a full-time remote position with hours of Monday through Friday 8:30AM – 5:30PM Eastern, with ability to schedule meetings in all US time zones.
Travel is required for tradeshows and in-market visits.
We offer a competitive base salary $55,000-$65,000, plus commission, commensurate with experience, as well as matching retirement plan, paid holidays, PTO, and group health and dental benefits.
