Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Business Development Specialist in Austin, Tx. Reporting to the Sr Director of Account Management, the Business Development Specialist will support our Consumer Devices group and generate new business guides and customers as a result. Also in charge of increasing revenue by expanding upon goods and services produced and provided for existing customersWhat a typical day looks like:Work within team to help Develop new strategic alliances with key customers within the Consumer Devices space.Analyze and understand customers business strategy, technology roadmap, future product plans, expansion activities and align Flex resources were mutually beneficial.Build and Present Value Propositions that define win-win solutions for Flex and potential customersDefine business priorities through a broad and far vision of market and technology needs to include initiating and managing business development activities that will strengthen, expand, and drive market penetration.Align with customer on key technology, innovation and supply chain initiatives and create unique value propositions with Flex design, engineering, and manufacturing capabilitiesAssist current accounts in the development and execution of product roadmaps and act as a focal point in delivering Flex's solutions which include concept development, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services support and reverse logistics.Support and/or participate in management team negotiations on business matters.Work closely to collaborate with the team to manage each account for maximum operating profit and revenue growth and develop and communicate metrics for same to all levels of internal and external management.The experience we're looking to add to the team:2-5 years of direct selling experience in the manufacturing services or supply chain spaceAble to collaborate and work as a team with easeAbility and desire to learn new things quicklyStrong drive for sales successAbility to travel when neededStrong business and financial acumenAbility to understand tech markets, products and services preferredWork experience that required interface with customers, preferredWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:Full range of medical benefits, dental, visionLife InsuranceMatching 401kPTOTuition Reimbursement Job Category Sales - Marketing - Account Mgmt Is Sponsorship Available?NoFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
