DESCRIPTION Are you excited to drive high-visibility, long term Supply Chain and Transportation plans to help Amazon meet future operational and analytics needs?
Looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills, supply chain and transportation knowledge, and technology experience to join our Supply Chain Execution Planning and Analytics team as a BIE. This position partners with several functional groups such as supply chain optimization, fulfillment technology, sales and operations, transportation, and several other key stakeholders throughout the process.
As a BIE, you will develop and implement ideas that drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes and driving automation. This position provides opportunities to influence one of the high visibility/high impact areas in the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions
- Mine data from database tables (ex. Redshift, MySQL, Oracle) using SQL and log files by writing scripts (ex. PERL, Python, UNIX)
- Develop deep-dive tools, UIs, metrics, and dashboards
- Serve as liaison between the business and technical teams to achieve the goal of providing actionable insights into current business performance. This will require data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, running simulations, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.

Bellevue, WA, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
