The Business Manager is a critical role responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the operational policies and procedures for the business office, including budget, financial reporting, accounts payable, purchasing , payroll, inventory, and insurance. Additionally, this role supervises the purchasing department, providing ongoing direction and coordination to ensure successful financial performance and budget priorities of the hospital. The Business Manager collaborates with Corporate and internal senior management groups to facilitate communication and strategic planning to achieve organizational goals and objectives .  
Plan, coordinate, and supervise the delivery of business-related functions daily, utilizing hospital and corporate business management policies and generally accepted accounting principles.   Provide direct supervision and motivation to staff while following Corporate guidelines, demonstrating knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) standards as they pertain to the business office area.   Ensure compliance with all related resource requirements to maintain the integrity of business operations.   Apply basic management skills to manage the hospital's business functions effectively, including budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable, purchasing , payroll, inventory, and insurance.   Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of business-related services, maintain compliance with regulations, and achieve organizational goals and objectives .   Education
Bachelor's degree in business administration Experience
Five years' experience in a responsible financial position involving budget preparation and control and/or administration of government contracts, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
