Full job description Job Announcement Business Manager **Location:** Laramie, Wyoming

As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Business Manager that will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of our meat processing facility office operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of the business, including customer relations, scheduling, customer cutting instructions, invoicing, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and data management. In addition, the successful individual must posses strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as be able to work independently. Previous meat processing or agriculture background is not required, we will train you on these areas, this position will not be involved in any of the actual meat processing.
**Responsibilities:** · Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits. Be the embodiment of our commitment to exceptional food and service, ensuring that every customer interaction reflects our passion for quality and leaves a lasting impression.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through exceptional service delivery and proactive communication.
· Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, going above and beyond to address their needs and exceed their expectations.
· Schedule customers for processing services
· Work closely with customers to understand their specific cutting and processing requirements, ensuring accurate execution by the production team.
· Generate and send invoices to customers promptly, accurately reflecting product orders and pricing.
· Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
· Organize and manage business data, including customer information, production records, and financial transactions, using appropriate software and systems.
· Collaborate with the product development team to drive innovation in our products and services, exploring new ideas, flavors, and packaging options to meet customer demands and market trends.
· Working closely with private label and co-packing clients to develop customized products and packaging solutions that align with their brand identity and market positioning.
**Qualifications:** · Previous experience in meat/food processing or agriculture is NOT required. We will teach you the industry along the way. This position will not be involved in the actual production of meat products.
· Proven experience in listed responsibilities or Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, agricultural business, or animal science related field.
· Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
· Impeccable attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. A meticulous approach to work, with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all tasks undertaken. Ability to identify errors or inconsistencies and take necessary corrective actions.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively. Ability to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and project requirements.
· Proficient computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office Suite excel or Google Documents, Quickbooks® and other program knowledge is preferred, but not required, will train on these.
