Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Business Member Advisor who will be responsible for providing a professional awareness of business financial solutions to businesses throughout the communities we serve, which includes cash management solutions, product offerings, virtual support, and lending referrals to existing and new business services Members. Offer guidance on best practices for cash flow products and services, including accounts, ACH/wires, Remote Deposit Capture, and Merchant Services. Partner with insurance advisors, lending groups, and auto sales to collaborate on all business needs.
\n Business Services DevelopmentResponsible for the total Member experience in all business depository programs while managing the day-to-day Member experience. Act as a Member service advisor for all cash management products and services, including virtual support. Provide guidance to business Members to assist with depository accounts and products needed to support their business. Responsible for overseeing various administrative tasks required to ensure department reaches sales goals while providing exceptional service to business Members. Educate and assist businesses with all cash management tools i.e., online banking, RDC, ACH, and Wire tools. Utilize and maximize Salesforce to drive revenue and build relationships with Members and team members. Educate Members on ACH/wire applications and assist in completion. Develop a comprehensive understanding of business Members' needs, based on the review and analysis of financial data gathered through relationship reviews and personal meetings. Drive business service products by synthesizing and analyzing information and deciding on/recommending opportunities for current and future growth. Partner with the Branches to educate the Branch Experience team members on identifying business opportunities and cash management tools. Assist in cash management product promotions and help meet promotion goals. Analyze market trends and competitors' products to provide feedback to VP/ Business Account Services Resolve problems through analysis of data, identification of root cause(s), evaluation of options, rendering of decisions, and implementation of the action.Communicate with senior leaders and department teams regarding all aspects of Business Services opportunities, operations, procedures, policies, and strategies. Ensure compliance with pertinent government rules and regulations. Non-Essential FunctionsContribute to special projects, research, and analysis. Provide general training to RCU team members as needed. Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts in the community, including volunteer centers and non-profit organizations. Participate in community events, community volunteer boards & associations. Volunteer time in the community. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong communication abilities and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain credibility and engender trust. Strong negotiation skills. Skill in the operation of a personal computer with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software abilities. Ability to use Salesforce software to track and report on sales performance. Ability to analyze problems and opportunities, identify and evaluate alternatives, and develop sound, practical approaches. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate the achievement of goals, objectives, and work plans. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a diverse environment. Ability to be out in the field 90% of the time. Licenses and Certifications Maintain a valid California driver's license and current auto insurance. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, turn, and drive. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator. Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk. Education/Experience A combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or closely related field and a minimum of three years of experience in financial services. Prior business development experience is a plus.
\nCompensation: Base pay range of $40.00 to $49.00 an hour Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity.
