As a thriving school, we are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Business Office Associate to join our dedicated team to support the school's financial and business operations.

Responsibilities Accounts Payable - verify and process vendor invoices for paymentMaintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactionsManage school's credit accounts, usage, and reconciliationAccounts Receivable - manage student billing and receivablesEnsure accurate allocation of tuition assistance / financial aidAssist in the processing of incoming payments (checks, credit card payments, electronic transfers)Generate financial reports and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (experience with Xero a plus)Assist with year-end closing procedures and audits Provide general operational support to the faculty and staffAssist with event budgeting and invoicingCoordinate with the Operations team on financial mattersAssist with the management of insurance and risk management coveragesProvide administrative support for school's real estate management activitiesAssist with the preparation of tax and other regulatory filings Provide additional HR support as neededAssist with general business office operationsProvide administrative support as needed to the Director of FinanceMaintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with parents, faculty, and staff Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or financial role
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in accounting software platforms and Microsoft Excel
• Commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
