Overview
The Business Office Director at Brightview Senior Living serves as the engine that keeps our community running effectively by providing the clerical, bookkeeping, budgeting, financial reporting, human resources and accounting support to our leadership team, and to our associates and residents who call the community their home.
We're currently looking to fill this very important role at Brightview Port Jefferson!
Responsibilities
As the Business Office Director, you will work closely with the Executive Director to create an efficient operation by assisting with the following:
Recruitment and selection of associates.
Supervising a team of Concierge associates.
Setting up and maintaining all resident and employee files in accordance with regulations and policies.
Setting up and maintaining all vendor files and communications.
Maintaining accounts receivable and billing operations.
Processing purchase orders.
Providing support to each department in meeting their operating budget goals for the year.
Salary Range
USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
Compensation Disclosure
The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program.
Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc.
Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will be a policy oriented individual with a passion for working with seniors and leading a team!
Associate's degree in business, accounting or a related discipline and a minimum of two years' experience in bookkeeping or office management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or a related discipline strongly preferred.
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly master new applications.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Superior communication skills.
