Business Planning is a key function working cross functionally to plan our product portfolio, production schedule, and revenue targets. Our team is seeking a highly motivated, resourceful, and data-driven intern to play key roles in helping us track and manage product lifecycle and production planning. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented intern with a passion for automation and/or analytics.
About the role - you will: Support key projects and system initiatives that align with Sales strategy and business needsProvide day-to-day support, including administration and analytical tasksInteraction with MS Office (high utilization of Excel), SAP, Salesforce, and internal systems, with the intention to update, run reports, and track status on activities through completionPerform data validation to assure integrity, accuracy and consistency, identify the root cause of data inconsistencies and process defects, and implement timely corrective actionsRegular communication with team members to checkpoint on business status, key requirements & work with stakeholders for plan to drive improvementsAbout you: Adapt to change gracefully and learn new technologies quicklyPossess keen attention to detail and excellent analytical thinking abilitiesPossess the ability to handle multiple projects in parallel; deliver them on timeExcellent organizational and time management skills, and attention to detailGenuine interest in learning and willingness to learn from all people, the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environmentThe ideal candidate is someone who is a fast learner, innovative, wants a challenge, and is eager to make an impact. The selected candidate will learn to apply analytical and problem-solving skills in a business setting. The ability to quickly move between tasks and projects, excellent analytical skills, effective oral and written communication, teamwork, a desire to learn, attention to detail, and determination are the foundations of this role.
Interns typically work Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm with the requirement to attend night calls due to business needs. The hours are subject to change with or without notice at the sole discretion of Seagate.
Your experience includes: Possess excellent communication and organizational skillsExperience gathering data from large scale data warehouses/data martsProven proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly ExcelKnowledge of sales processes is a plusSalesforce or other CRM tools proficiency a plusSAP or other ERP systems & process proficiency a plusCurrent student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Business and/or analytics discipline or related field, and returning to school in Fall 2024Location: Remote United States

The estimated base salary range for this position: $18 - $28. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which the position is located based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
