As a Business Solutions Banker in Business Banking, Minority Entrepreneur Program (BSB-MEP), you will be helping to bridge the Chase relationship for businesses that graduate from the Minority Entrepreneur Learning Journey Mentorship program as part of JPMCs Racial Equity Commitment. The BSB-MEP is assigned a portfolio of existing client and prospect graduates for a fixed period and works to build relationships with a focus on financial solutions and education.
Business Banking is looking for a Business Solutions Banker - Minority Entrepreneur Program to provide support and strengthen existing relationships, as well as maintain connectivity with prospects and onboard them as clients when appropriate.
Job Responsibilities Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase Business Banking Minority Entrepreneur Learning Journey Mentorship program graduate clients and prospects by proactively providing comprehensive business banking solutions tailored to the financial needs and circumstances of the businesses Plan and conduct regularly-scheduled, agenda-based meetings with each client to understand their needs and goals. Identify their banking needs, analyze current product usage, and pinpoint growth opportunities through Zoom and phone engagement. Engage with clients through screen share tools to educate, guide and assist the client with Chase online systems Proactively call and engage with prospects and continue to present the value of a Business Banking relationship with Chase Perform outreach to Minority Entrepreneur Landing Page inquiries from businesses wanting to learn more about the Learning Journey Program Maintain strong partnerships with Senior Business Consultant team members for ongoing feedback loops and education to assist in delivering the very best continuing experience to graduates of the program Assess and identify the business banking segment best suited to manage the client long term – RM, Remote or Small/Micro(branch) Use knowledge of banking, industry trends and internal tools to identify, recommend, and promote solutions that best serve the client while still working within risk parameters that protect the bank Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Minimum 3 years of experience in a business banking relationship management or portfolio management role or related business experience Maintain strong Zoom/phone-based and written communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally Ability to proactively build relationships with clients and internal partners and influence others, in a fast-paced environment, to achieve desired outcomes Ability to take initiative and develop rapport to build and maintain client relationships virtually; identify opportunities and issues by asking targeted questions to assess current client needs and goals; assess and recommend viable and appropriate solutions for the client General knowledge of core business products and services including deposit, lending and cash management Proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Preferred qualification, capabilities, and skills Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience About Us Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
