PSE's New Product Development team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Business Support Analyst position!

Job Description PSE's Pole Services team is part of the Product Development department which develops new energy products and services to meet customer needs. The Pole Services group specifically engages with PSE's residential, municipal, telecommunications and construction development customers interested in street and area lighting, communication siting, wireless and wireline attachments and other pole related services. Additionally this team is responsible for developing new smart city infrastructure opportunities that will leverage PSE's vertical pole assets.
The Business Support Analyst plays an integral role on this team by coordinating support activities to meet the needs of customers, including but not limited to; coordinating research and resolution of customer billing issues; responding to and resolving customer questions, requests or issues; creating rate analyses for customer rate changes, preparing documentation and billing specialized customer construction projects. Assisting with atomization and process improvement to transform manual processes into more efficient automated processes.
Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.
Job Responsibilities Coordinating research and resolution of carrier and communication partner billing issues. Prepares billing documents of construction and rent related activities. Assist with atomization in transforming manual processes into more efficient automated processes Prepares various reports on topics related to sales metrics, revenue, quality customer service, etc. Inputs data and evaluates the output from departmental modeling tools, benchmarking comparisons and performance reporting. Initiates, leads and performs analysis; provides/presents recommendations. Provides ad-hoc data analysis, which may include research and review of issues, and follow-on response. Coordinates and supports data requests from internal or external sources Assists with departmental initiatives, new analysis development and process improvement Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in business, economics, finance, or related, and 3 years experience in quantitative/ qualitative analysis; or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Experience working with relational database sytems (querying, analysis, reporting). Strong computer skill utilizing MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook). Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to understand and explain technical concepts. Excellent writing, communication and customer service skills. Experience and desire to work in a team environment. Strong time management and organizational skills. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments. Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field. Project management skills. Experience leading teams. Related business-specific experience may include: Advanced relational database familiarity (MS Access, SQL, Oracle). Familiarity with CSEE Systems (CSY, CLX, CMS). Knowledge of Crystal Reports and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Knowledge of programming language (Visual Basic, SQL, VB.NET, HTML). Knowledge of rate-making process. Familiarity with SAP, BI, PACE. Process documentation and improvement experience. The pay range for this position is $65,500.00 - $93,100.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
