Job Overview: As a Business Support Specialist in our equipment rental company, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service. This position involves a variety of tasks including administrative duties, data entry, customer liaison, and coordination of rental contracts. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adept at multitasking, and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to various departments, including finance, operations, and sales. Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person, and provide detailed information about products and services. Process rental agreements and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time. Maintain and update rental records and customer databases with precision. Assist in scheduling and dispatching equipment to customer sites. Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all rented equipment is in optimal condition before and after rentals. Manage invoicing, process payments, and assist with financial record-keeping. Prepare regular reports on rental activity, customer feedback, and other operational metrics. Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations. Support the sales team in creating promotional materials and organizing marketing events. Qualifications: Associate's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred). Previous experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a rental or service-oriented business. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of the equipment rental industry is a plus but not required. Skills: Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Strong data entry and documentation skills.
