Serves as top finance and accounting leader and strategic business partner for designated business unit(s), location(s) and/or functional area(s) with a small to moderate portion of corporate revenues. Oversees coordination and preparation of financial analysis and provides management with information vital to the decision-making process.
Job ResponsibilitiesProvides strategic financial leadership and support on matters affecting the assigned global business unit(s) and/or location(s).Partners with business unit and company leadership to develop strategy, long range planning, and leads the business unit's financial planning process. Proactively recommends mitigating actions to help achieve planned business results.Provides insights on business performance in relation to strategies and goals; routinely analyzes and reports performance utilizing trend analyses and data analytics. Leads business analyses to advise the business and identify opportunities to drive business improvements.Leads monthly financial analysis of the business unit's results, ensuring coordination with regional and local teams.Ensures compliance with company accounting and financial policies; enables technology to manage risk and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes and systems; maintains a strong environment of internal controls.Performs a full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Skills RequirementsStrong financial analysis skills at a leadership level.Excellent leadership skills, confidence, ability to influence key stakeholders, provide insightful financial analysis, share expertise and mentor others.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with a diverse group of people.Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.Ability to forecast and develop budgets.Strong computer literacy, especially experience with financial software systems.Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.EducationBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Experience RequirementsMinimum of five years of public accounting experience or nine years of related experience in the field or combination thereof.Prior leadership and management experience in a large, complex global company strongly preferred.
