Key Responsibilities and Priorities:
Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers
Identify new sources of supply to develop supply chain competition
Improve existing supplier's performance
Work with Planning on demand requirements and lead time expectations
Work with Customer Service to ensure costs are competitive with our market competition
Negotiate costs with suppliers utilizing available market information
Identify and complete cost saving projects
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Knowledge of supply chain management concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Years of Experience Required: 2-4 years of experience in the field or related area
