Buyer

The Buyer will be involved in the procurement of materials and services including, but not limited to:
Purchasing materials, supplies and services at the most favorable terms for the organization Qualify vendors, evaluate bids, and negotiate prices/terms for purchased goods and services Tracking purchases and expediting as necessary Monitoring vendor quality and providing input to the supplier evaluation system Position Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred US citizenship required due to ITAR regulations 1+ years of purchasing experience preferred Solid written and verbal (English) communication skills Knowledge of commonly used procurement concepts and practices Excellent organization skills Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Sage100 is preferred High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Mainstream Engineering Corporation is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
