We are seeking a skilled and experienced Buyer to join our client's procurement team. The Buyer will be responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes and possess excellent negotiation and analytical skills. If interested apply today! Salary: $60,000-$75,000/yr

Job Responsibilities: Create and issue all day-to-day purchase orders (approved order requisitions), negotiating price and delivery where applicable. File all requisitions and purchase orders after the issuance of the order. Conduct a weekly review of open purchase order roster and expedite orders giving preference to those that are past due. Work to reduce on-hand inventory. Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability consistent with just-in-time inventory requirements. Correct any invoice discrepancies due to pricing or delivery quantity of any non-standard item. Keep updated cost savings spreadsheet. Review and issue all debit memos as they arise for the business unit in which the agent is positioned for. Call in outside service contractors for business unit's service calls as requested. Update the ISO/TS spreadsheet and folders (where necessary) on a quarterly basis. Contract technician for repairs on all large copiers. Complete receiving for Tool Build purchase orders and some MRO item orders as needed. Work with Quality Control to help qualify new potential suppliers.Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Graphing; Knowledge of TMM software.
