About the BytaNation Program: The BytaNation Program aims to build a nationwide network of skilled freelance field technician engineers for efficient managed services. We will provide onboarding and training to qualified technicians.
Responsibilities:
Onsite IT Support:
Respond promptly to onsite service requests within a 2-hour radius.
Conduct installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of networking equipment.
Hardware Maintenance:
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware components.
Perform comprehensive hardware diagnostics to identify and resolve issues.
Networking:
Set up and configure networking infrastructure for optimal performance and security.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and implement effective solutions.
Server Management:
Install, configure, and maintain servers to meet client specifications.
Conduct routine server maintenance and updates.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation of onsite activities, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Provide detailed reports to the IT team regarding service calls and resolutions.
Customer Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients to understand IT requirements and provide clear explanations of technical issues and solutions.
Ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with IT professionals and teams to address complex issues and implement robust solutions.
Participate actively in team meetings, contributing valuable insights to enhance overall IT support processes.
Qualifications:
Education and Certifications:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA advantageous.
Experience:
Proven experience in onsite IT support, including networking equipment, hardware installations, and server management.
Familiarity with various operating systems and software applications.
Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Availability:
Must be available during regular business hours for onsite support within a 2-hour radius.
