Job Description Title : C++ Software Engineer Location  : Redmond, WA (ON-SITE job) Nature of employment : 12 months- potential for extension up to 2 years Direct client Internal job id: FT0761 Description: Looking for someone with prior experience working with data pipelines, data annotation pipelines, and automation for machine learning. Will work with a team supporting data ingested from a variety of devices through different paths into central infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in new languages, configuration systems and picking up new systems.
NOTE: Write clean readable code and debug with C++11 (and up). Will be interviewed mostly focusing on coding skills.
Responsibilities ? Analyze, evaluate, design, develop, integrate, debug and test data analysis tools
? Build software, tools, infrastructure, documentation and other systems that enable research scientists to analyze their data and iterate on their experiments
? Educate researchers and other team members on software engineering best practices, tips and techniques
? Write clean readable code, debug complex problems that span systems, prioritize ruthlessly and get things done with a high level of efficiency
Required Qualifications ? BS degree in the field of computer science or related field.
? 5+ years experience with C++, including C++11 (and up) features and principles.
? Experience shipping one or more products using standard software development toolsets such as source control and continuous integration systems
Desired Qualifications ? Python
Interview process: VC Interview—30 min tech screen, 60 min coding, 60 min behavioral with RS
Education: BS in comp sci or related field
