\n Job Duties:Prepare shop tickets for various precast structures using computer-assisted drafting software.Support the design team in various projects and daily functions related to design and fabrication.Create erection drawings for basic structures under the supervision of the Chief Designer or Design Engineer.Read and plot erection details and drawings accurately.Collaborate with the Project Lead to prioritize shop card detailing and review erection drawings and details.Utilize computer-aided drafting or modeling programs, such as AutoCAD, to create shop cards that conform to standard detailing practices.Ensure clear and accurate representation of concrete pieces for the carpentry shop, steel shop, and plant production.Complete a Bill of Materials from callouts on shop cards.Plot shop cards for personnel and check by the Project Designer.Verify shop cards against erection drawings and details for accuracy; revise as necessary.Present checked shop cards to the Project Lead for review.Scrub red-lines from Project Lead check prints and present scrubbed shop cards for verification of correctness.Detail Steel Cards from sketches or markups provided by Project Designers or Design Engineers.Perform additional duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or GED required.Minimum of three months of related experience and/or training.At least one course of instruction in computer-aided drafting (i.e., AutoCAD or similar program) required. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Knowledge of computer-aided drafting and modeling programs, with a focus on precast structures and/or commercial/residential construction preferred.
