Description: Accord Carton is searching for a talented and motivated CAD designer to join our growing manufacturing team.
In this role, you will play a key role in the product development process, using your CAD skills to create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D models for a variety of products.

Responsibilities
Design and build physical product samples based on customer request and specifications provided by sales representatives.
Organize customer-requested product structures into preferred formats for efficient production.
Utilize CAD software to design structures, die layouts, product dimensions, and various styles.
Manage the ordering and acquisition of dies and tooling needed for manufacturing.
Oversee the creation of steel counters and related components.
Provide timely quotes to the Plant Estimator for accurate order pricing.
Collaborate effectively with customers and department managers to ensure project alignment.
Generate layout data for the laser die maker to produce production die boards.
Maintain and organize product structure files for easy access and reference.
Implement a system to ensure all design changes are properly approved and documented.
Maintain and service CAD equipment and computers to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CAD Designer or in a related field.
Proven proficiency in CAD software (SoldWorks, AutoCAD or similar)
Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for manufacturing and a strong understanding of manufacturing process (a plus).
