Calibration Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our OBD and Functional Safety Calibration Team. This role involves working with a global development team focused on optimizing diesel fuel systems and ensuring compliance with customer performance and regulatory requirements. Pay rate: $40/hour on W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Key Responsibilities: Calibrate parameters for the On-Board Diagnostic system, primarily for diesel fuel systems. Optimize monitoring strategies to meet engineering targets regarding the performance and robustness of diagnostic functions. Define and conduct engine and vehicle tests to meet performance standards. Evaluate and present diagnostic-related test results for powertrain, engine, and vehicle systems. Provide support to customers and collaborate with engineers from other departments on diagnostic topics. Travel up to 12 weeks per year, both domestically and internationally. T Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Control Systems, or Computer Engineering). 4+ years of experience in engine controls or OBD powertrain calibration (includes co-op, internship, or relevant professional experience). Familiarity with data acquisition and modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, ASCET, C++, and ETAS tool suite. Strong knowledge of powertrain and diagnostic systems (Diesel and Gasoline) in hardware, software, or calibration. Valid driver's license required.
