The Call Center Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive the highest level of service and support.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Customer Service:**
- Answer incoming calls from patients, family members, and healthcare professionals, providing accurate information regarding services, scheduling, and general inquiries.
- Respond to email inquiries with professional and timely assistance.
- Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude when dealing with patients, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.

- **Data Entry and Management:**
- Accurately enter and update patient information in the system to ensure data integrity and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Document all interactions accurately and comprehensively to maintain a thorough record of communications.

- **Scheduling:**
- Assist patients in scheduling appointments and follow-up visits, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to manage and coordinate appointment timings and availability.

- **Problem Solving:**
- Tackle patient concerns efficiently while seeking innovative solutions to various issues that may arise.
- Use available resources to research inquiries and provide patients with useful information and assistance.

- **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to maintain a supportive and organized work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to policies and procedures that improve patient service delivery.

- **Continuous Improvement:**
- Seek feedback on performance and areas of improvement to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Engage in ongoing training sessions to stay current on protocols, services, and systems.

**Requirements:**
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare or customer service is a plus.
- **Experience:** No prior experience required; however, any internship or volunteer work in a healthcare or customer service setting will be considered an asset.
- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficient in using computers and various software applications, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
