We seek a highly motivated, friendly, personable individual to promote high-quality patient service for our Podiatry Division.
The Call Center Specialists will handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls. Work closely with the Office Manager to ensure that calls are responded to promptly and support the operations at the Front Desk. The Call Center Specialists will be responsible for answering calls for multiple sites, responding to patients' basic questions, resolving issues using the resources provided, and instructing patients on all information and documents needed for their appointments. Respond effectively and appropriately to patients with difficult situations that require further attention. Must be flexible, highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to set and meet deadlines. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full Time Benefits: Healthcare Insurance, Medical, Dental, and Vision. We offer 401(k) after one year of employment, Paid Time Off, and six holidays.
Computer Skills: Excellent keyboarding skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with high accuracy required. Must possess the capacity to learn software programs required for specific positions and access electronic communications, including emails, extranet, intranet, and computer-assisted learning.
Language Skills: Requires excellent English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills, listening, and interpersonal relationship skills. Must communicate clearly and interact comfortably with a diverse group of clients, staff, and patients in a non-judgmental, professional, and sensitive manner.
Required Skills: We are looking for at least one to two years of experience with the following:
Call Center Patient Service
Podiatry Medical Terminology
Medical Insurance
EMR (Athena)
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift to 15lbs
