Job DescriptionSenior Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets Officer that advises corporate clients and executes debt financing solutions for acquisitions, refinancing, capex, stock buybacks, and liability management. Additionally, the role requires working closely with partners in Corporate & Commercial Banking and Fixed Income Capital Markets to ensure comprehensive client coverage.
Essential Responsibilities: Direct debt capital markets coverage responsibility for a core industry vertical(s), with a focus on developing client relationships, expanding industry coverage, and growing revenue and market share.Provide strategic direction regarding industry vertical coverage, performance management, and talent development.Appropriately engage with internal partners to maximize client driven revenue opportunities.Manage the Investment Grade DCM relationship holistically, including collaborating with banking and credit partners to identify opportunities and drive credit expansion, including High Grade Bridges and other capital underwritings.Actively ensure compliance with all US Bancorp policies and procedures.Essential Qualifications: 12+ years of banking and investment grade bond experience.BA/MBA in finance, accounting, or other related field.Knowledge of credit fundamentals and industry verticals.Significant and deep client relationships.Strong leadership abilities and strategic management skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Highly developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Collaborative approach with emphasis on tact, diplomacy, and people skills.If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
