Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist

Overview We are looking for a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to perform cardiac ultrasound procedures under the direction of a cardiologist.
The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of patient care for a wide range of age groups and contribute to the efficient operation of the department.

Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures in accordance with department standards and procedures.
Plan daily schedules for inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients.
Operate appropriate equipment for each exam and assist with equipment maintenance.
Adhere to safety precautions and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
Qualifications Ability to operate sonographic equipment effectively and independently.
Excellent communication skills with patients and the healthcare team.
Strong problem-solving and judgment abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Education, Experience, and/or Other Requirements Must be ARDMS or RCS registered or actively pursuing registration.
One year of clinical experience in a progressive Ultrasound Department or Ultrasound Training Program is required.
CPR certification and a valid driver's license are also necessary.

Physical Demands Good eye/hand coordination and ability to lift and assist patients.
Able to stand for extended periods and attend to visual details.
Ability to communicate effectively and comprehend written and oral instructions.
