Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Cardiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Located just 15 minutes from NYC, Lincoln is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University. The department provides service in both inpatient and outpatient non-invasive cardiology care.

ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and treat heart-related illnesses and conditionsPerform procedures such as angiograms, echocardiograms, and cardiac catheterizationsPrescribe medication and treatment plansInterpret diagnostic tests and imaging to identify heart problemsProvide preventative care and guidance on a heart-healthy lifestyleWork closely with other medical professionals to coordinate patient careKeep detailed records of patient medical history and treatment plansStay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cardiology research and treatmentsActively participate in continuing education and professional development opportunitiesCommunicate with patients and their families, providing education and emotional support.QualificationsCurrent NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)Board Certification or Board Eligibility in CardiologyWages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $257,500* based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $378,770**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
