The Hudson Valley Healthcare System is seeking an experienced, full-time non-invasive Cardiologist (M.D. or D.O) who is Board Certified or Eligible.
Duties include oversight of all aspects of cardiac care delivered to referred patients and participating in daily ambulatory/outpatient Cardiology clinic services primarily at our Hudson Valley Healthcare Systems VA Medical Center.
The Cardiologist will consult, manage, and provide education and counseling of Veterans in preventative care and apply evidence-based care for an array of cardiac conditions, while also supervising comprehensive outpatient cardiac procedures. The facility has the capacity to perform a wide variety of outpatient Cardiology services including EKG and Arrhythmia monitoring interpretation, echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms, Transesophageal echocardiograms, and cardioversions.
The Cardiologist will establish a professional relationship with clinical service providers within the outpatient center, provide telephone and curbside consultations, and screen consultative and procedural requests for appropriateness. The ability to provide telecardiology services to other Hudson Valley Healthcare System locations is a plus.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases.
