Mercy Clinic Cardiology - Rogers, AR Monday - Friday No weekends or holidays! Overview:   The Cardiology Device Clinician performs a variety of functions related to implanted cardiac device management, such as ICD, Pacemaker, and Internal Loop Recorders (ILR) evaluations for outpatients, inpatient and procedure areas. Performs pacemaker parameter testing and remote monitoring, including the interpretation of data and recognition of potential life-threatening cardiac irregularities that require referral to EP or Cardiology Service. This position is also responsible for ensuring that patients and their families are well-educated and are provided the necessary instructions for monitoring and follow-up. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years cardiology experience, cardiac electrophysiology preferred. 2-4 years implanted cardiac device experience with knowledge of all manufacturers programmers. Required Education: Technical degree; or Medical Assistant or High School Diploma with equivalent of 2 years on the job training. Certifications: CCDS or CRAT certification preferred upon hire.
