DescriptionSign on Bonus and Relocation Assistance Offered JOB SUMMARYThe cardiovascular technologist acts as a clinical / technical support team member. They are competent in cardiac invasive procedural skill sets such as , surgical scrub, hemodynamic monitoring and clinical data computation and acquisition. The cardiovascular technologist provides on call coverage as assigned and as rotations require. They are competent in cardiac imaging PACS acquisition and data management. The CVT is required to functionally perform duties in Cath Lab, EP lab and Interventional Vascular Lab as needed on a daily basis.GENERAL REQUIREMENTSAdheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelinesPerforms all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organizationPerforms other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and proceduresMaintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs)Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs.
