CARE-PD Analyst University of California Los Angeles Budgeted Pay Scale: Full Salary Range: USD $28.30/Hr. - USD $54.74/Hr. Department Summary Under the general and direct supervision of the Project Director, this full time Community Access Reach & Education in Pediatric Dentistry (CARE-PD) Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day project management, high-level outreach, and implementation of technical health systems solutions. The successful candidate will have three main duties: (1) CARE-PD Post-Doctoral Residency Program;(2) Research Projects; and (3) Outreach and Management Duties. As part of the CARE-PD Post-Doctoral Residency Program: Analyst will develop, maintain, and update program website; work closely with the CARE-PD program manager to create and distribute quarterly schedules of didactic courses and clinic sessions; and manage and analyze the funds for the CARE-PD grant and communicate with the financial office. As part of the Research Projects: Analyst will develop monthly data reports from electronic health records for resident's performance evaluation; utilize quality improvement methodology to improve CAMBRA utilization in pediatric dental clinics; and conduct literature reviews, as well as draft and edit publications and science reports. Outreach and Management duties include providing support to the Program Directors and Program Manager for all aspects of the CARE-PD program. This will include conducting literature searches and preparing didactic materials for syllabi, managing website information, managing all aspects of scheduling and correspondence, collecting data for program evaluation, evaluating community activities. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications Minimum 5 years in health related field. Developing health education curricula, conducting health education and outreach, planning and executive events, and/or community outreach services, especially with children, patients with special need (Required) General knowledge of the UCLA Academic Personnel Policies, forms and procedures. (Preferred) General knowledge in preparing forms and ability to compile all documents required for faculty appointments or faculty personnel action. (Required) Demonstrated project management skills and excellent organizational skills. Must be able to perform and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently and manage conflicting and changing priorities and deadlines under minimal supervision. Able to anticipate information needed by others as situations and projects develop and exercise sound judgment. (Required) Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of people at various organizational levels inside and outside the School (faculty, staff, residents, students, community partners, etc.). (Required) Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and appropriately, such as research participants files. (Required) Ability to work independently and as a productive team member in varied activities and projects. (Required) Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem resolution skills. (Required) Demonstrated capacity to build working relationships and effective collaborations with diverse professional, institutional, and community leadership/partner organizations and policy makers. (Required) Proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). (Required) Knowledge and understanding of systems and public/private sector health organizations in LA County. (Required) Excellent oral communications and writing skills. Experience writing reports and summarizing research and/or project performance. (Required) Skills in other language, such as Spanish.
