Our Private Duty services offer the type of care traditional nursing homes and assisted living facilities provide from the comfort of home. We help with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, cleaning, and cooking. We also provide medication reminders. Private Duty services include both clinically skilled and non-skilled care. Our goal is to provide those who are not able to completely care for themselves an opportunity to live the best quality of life right at home.

The Caregiver Development Coordinator Position: The Caregiver Development Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for caregivers and could include recruiting new staff, processing referrals, providing technical support for caregivers, and managing scheduling within the EMR system. This role ensures that all caregivers are well-trained, supported, and equipped to deliver exceptional care services to clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop and deliver a comprehensive training program for new and existing caregivers, focusing on caregiving skills, safety protocols, customer services, and company policies. Assess training needs and create materials and resources to address those needs. Conduct ongoing training sessions and workshops to ensure continuous professional development. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Collaborate with the POP's team to develop job descriptions, post job openings, and manage the recruitment process for new caregivers. Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet the company's standards and requirements (if applicable). Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they are effectively integrated into the team. Coordinate with referral sources, clients, and caregivers to match clients with appropriate caregivers based on their needs. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to caregivers using the EMR system and other digital tools. Ensure caregivers are proficient in using technology to document care activities and communicate effectively with the office and clients. Collaborate with and support the scheduling team with the EMP system to ensure all client needs are met and caregivers' schedules are optimized. Provide scheduling support as needed in absence of a scheduling coordinator. Monitor caregiver availability and client needs to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of care. QUALIFICATIONS for Caregiver Development Coordinator: Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, educational or caregiving role Strong knowledge of caregiving practices, safety protocols, and customer service. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using EMR systems and other relevant technology. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Passionate about caregiving and committed to the development and support of caregivers. Innovative and proactive in developing training materials and programs.
