Caregiver

Job Summary

This job posting is for a Private Duty Caregiver in a clean, smoke-free private home.
Seeking caregiver for Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 am-2:00 pm and 2:00 pm-10:00 pm and Wednesday from 2:00 pm-10:00 pm.
This position is for the care and assistance of one middle-aged quadriplegic otherwise healthy man.
No driving is required.
Operation of ceiling-mounted electric lifting assistance device and electric wheelchair required.

Responsibilities and Duties

The client needs to be given prescribed oral and topical medications, feeding meals, positioning for comfort, assisting with shower and personal care, and assisting with emails, and social media devices.
Minimal charting and MD contact.
Lifting up to 25 lbs is occasionally required.
Turning client side to side to dress and pulling up in bed, unassisted, required.
Client-only laundry is occasionally necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will have previous personal care experience in any setting.

Ability to come in and train for client's routine.


Preferred- CPR certified.

Should be able to type on a keyboard and have basic computer and iPhone skills.

Discretion, respect, and willingness to perform duties without specific MD orders.

Hourly Pay: $26-$30 per hour based on experience

This Position Only Five Shifts left, Wednesday 2:00 pm-10:00 pm, Saturday 6:00 am-2:00 pm and 2:00 pm-10:00 pm, Sunday 6:00 am-2:00 pm, 2:00 pm-10:00 pm.
