How You'll Add Value
The Carpenter engages in the construction, alteration, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial buildings. This position reports directly to the Project Foreman/Superintendent.
How You'll Get It Done Follow all policies and procedures per the Site Specific Health & Safety program.Follow blueprints and building plans per specified requirements.Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.Construct building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes.Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding, and inspect/replace damaged framework.Communicate among project team, vendors, clients, and subcontractors.Coordinate project punch lists.Adhere to proper Temporary Protection procedures as applicable.Meet specified deadlines and complete all duties as assigned by the supervisor.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site at all times.Complete daily time entry for payroll purposes.What You're Bringing to the Table 5+ years Construction/Carpentry experience preferredOSHA Certification RequiredKnowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in both rough and finished carpentry settingsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail-orientedEffective time management with the ability to meet deadlines and efficiently execute all the tasks assignedSound understanding of all safety regulations and norms for working with carpentry toolsMust provide his/her own tools and equipment required for the position, as well as reliable transportationPhysically able to lift and carry material up to 50 lbs. as needed, as well as climb and work with laddersSite Specific is an equal opportunity employer
