In this position... 
The Carpenter Supervisor, Technical Construction & Maintenance position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. Maintenance Supervisors are:

What you'll do...
Supervise hourly employees, both skilled and unskilled
Supervise contractor's maintenance activities / projects  
Support and supervise site maintenance and construction activities
Schedule employees for critical safety compliance
Document and deploy weekly safety talks to hourly employees 
Support departmental cost savings and efficiencies
Support site safety and environmental engineering projects

You'll have... 
High School Diploma or GED
8 years of carpentry experience working in the field  
5 years of experience with managing carpenters in the field
Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineered drawings / specifications

Bachelor's Degree 
Safety and quality experience 
Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
Knowledge of constraint management principles 
Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
