\n Duties and ResponsibilitiesTrack all freight in transit to ensure on-time delivery in your territoryInput tracking updates into the Transportation Management System from pickup to successful deliveryIndependently coordinate available carriers with customer freightDevelop and maintain strong relationships with carriers while expanding your carrier base through sourcingnegotiate and quote rates with carriers in a cost-effective manner that benefits all partiesKeep up to date in seasonal market trendsUtilize software tools to negotiate and log market ratesCommunicate with carriers and internal departments, with a sense of urgency, to schedule pickup times, deliveries, updates, and resolve any issuesCreate carrier leads through both warm and cold calls Experience and QualificationsHigh School Diploma RequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent experience highly preferredMinimum 1-year sales experience preferredMinimum 1-year logistics experience preferredExperience conducting business over the phone highly preferred Knowledge and SkillsSuperb verbal and written communication, strong phone presenceProven ability to work independently and be a team player in a fast-paced environmentPossess the "Hungry" and "Hunter" mentalityAbility to problem-solve and handle high-stress environment while hitting KPI'sStrong people skills including ability to build relationships with carriersDetermination and tenaciousness with strong work ethic, self-motivation, and sales drive Benefits and PerksPaid Industry Training followed by immediate commission earning opportunityComprehensive Benefits Packet (Medical, Vision, Dental)Company Provided Life Insurance + Optional Additional Policy401(k) with Company Match or Gradifi Student Loan Repayment AssistanceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Health and Wellness ProgramPaid PTO and Holidays + Unlimited PTO Policy on 1-Year AnniversaryFree Onsite ParkingCasual Dress Code
