Receives, records, and reconciles payments received from all office locations. Ensures that all payments are posted correctly daily. Works closely with office management and the payment posting department to correct errors.
This position is full time 40 hours/week Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:30am - 4:30pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 2750 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221.
We offer 2 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
Verifies and documents total payments collected by all office locations. Tracks cash received by office and matches to courier route to ensure there are no missing envelopes from locations. Records and tracks when payments are received, given to cash control for deposit and any issues with balancing by site
Ensures all payments received match the daily transaction sheet of payments collected. Verifies payments received match the payment posted in the billing software. Corrects and tracks payment errors to resolve issues
Corresponds with office management on any balancing issues from the payments received and gets corrections within the specified time frame. Works closely with the finance department on balanced payments ready for deposit
Assists with answering phones and front desk coverage

High School Diploma/GED
Must be 18 years OR older
6+ months experience in Banking, bookkeeping, cashiering, or relative experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Ability to work onsite in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
Ability to work Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of computers, and other equipment used in the patient financial services area
Diverse knowledge and experience in utilizing standardized PC software
General clerical skills and attention to detail are essential
Excellent communication skills are required.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency with keyboard and 10 key adding machine
