Administers non-injectable contrast material for routine radiographs.
Responsible for the set-up and operation of both stationary equipment (X-ray, fluoroscopic, and CT) and mobile equipment (c-arm, portable, O-Arm).
Processes and reviews radiographs for quality.
Performs a variety of clinical CT procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and imitative.
Produces and evaluates CT images for technical quality and is able to reconstruct and reformat images as/if necessary.
Properly identifies anatomical structures and images for accuracy of the exam.
Medication oversight which includes documentation of delivery of IV contrast media.
Performs all QA procedures necessary and maintains accurate records.
Monitors all supplies needed and communicates any shortage immediately.
Adheres to all St. Francis Hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements Requirements: NYS radiographer's license Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technology Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Axid Tomography & MRI required.
BLS required Salary Range USD $49.90 - USD $51.80 /Hr.
