Job Overview: Catering and To Go Manager : Planning, organizing, and overseeing catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, delivery, and presentation for events and special occasions . Key Responsibilities ·
· Develop and implement catering and to-go menus, considering current food trends and customer preferences.
· Manage and coordinate all catering events from inception to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Oversee the to-go order process, including packaging, accuracy, and timely delivery.
· Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to ensure repeat business.
· Work closely with the Commissary and Catering Director as well as the service teams to ensure quality control and efficient operation.
· Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their event vision, preferences, dietary restrictions, and specific requests. This involves advising on menu selection, service style (buffet, plated, family-style, etc.), and any customization to ensure their needs are fully met.
· Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
· Train and supervise catering and to-go staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
· Implement and monitor procedures for safety and sanitation in catering and to-go operations.
· Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services (e.g., additional catering options, specialty items, or partner services) that enhance the client's event and increase revenue.
· Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and a focus on resolution and customer satisfaction.
· Develop marketing and promotional strategies to increase catering and to-go sales.
· Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the catering and to-go departments.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for any client issues or complaints, resolving them promptly and professionally. Ensure that all client concerns are addressed in a way that enhances their overall experience and satisfaction.

Qualifications Qualifications · A minimum of 3 years of experience in catering, event management, or a related role
· Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and staff at all levels.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering management software
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Physical requirements · Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
· Ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more.
· Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as pots, pans, bulk food items.
· Ability to work in a hot or humid environment at certain times.
· Ability to frequently move around the kitchen including reaching and bending
