Residences on Forrest Lane is seeking a Director for our Assisted Living/CBRF community! The Director is responsible for creating and maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction, staff interactions and resident care. The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements for compliance in a CBRF, experience in developing detailed and appropriate resident assessments, and the ability to provide visible, proactive leadership.

In this role, the director will provide direct oversight, training, and monitoring of staff, delivery of care services and regulatory compliance. They will also be responsible for operating within the approved budget and meeting or exceeding established outcomes. The ideal person for this position will be able to foster a strong, cohesive team environment that builds confidence and strong morale among the staff and staff retention. This person will possess the ability to work with partner providers to create a pro-active and collaborative relationship, build trust with residents and their families through good communication and follow-through. The director will work closely with training, motivating, and developing staff to perform at their highest levels. The director works with a team of staff that is responsible for creating a warm, supportive, and safe environment for residents with dementia. Any potential candidate will be prepared to lead staff in the language of dementia, creative interventions, and facilitating meaningful activity programs.
Qualifications You must have excellent written and oral communication skills.The ability to creatively problem-solve in both resident care and employee management situations.You must be a team player.Be well organized and flexible.Ideally have 3 or more years of assisted living experience.Ideally have supervisory/management level training or experience of 2 years or more.Experience working with people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia is a plus.
