CCAP Operations and Underwriting Support Apprenticeship Location Farmington, CT : We currently have an opportunity for a CCAP Operations and Underwriting Support apprenticeship to join our Operations team in our Farmington, CT office. This Operations apprenticeship program will be a pathway to learning and building skills to enable career development within the property-casualty industry through assignments in Operations and Underwriting Support department. Students will concurrently be enrolled in associate degree programs while working a minimum of 15 hours in the Farmington, CT Intact office. Student will work under ongoing, direct supervision and work efforts will be reviewed for accuracy and completion. Responsibilities: Continuous learning and development regarding the skills and competencies applicable to roles within the organization's insurance and shared services functions Follow instructions from department staff related to customer service, underwriting support, systems development, etc. in support of assigned work Contribute to team operating goals by completing functional tasks as assigned Demonstrate emerging capabilities to incrementally achieve added responsibilities within scope of work area Ongoing participation in team meetings and other communications forums to build an understanding of the business, culture, and success measures Requirements: Self-starter; curiosity Must be currently enrolled in CCAP Some experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Time-management, ability to prioritize and apply attention to detail Demonstrated verbal and written communications and organizational skills Expected to maintain a "C" average within Associate's degree program Education & Experience: Able to work collaboratively within a team environment, with capacity to take direction and openness to coaching High-school diploma or equivalent Job Number
