Base Pay will be commensurate with the level of Beverage Distribution Experience Job Description:
This position is accountable for the delivery of products from brewery pickups and transfers between company facilities.
OTR Driver is responsible for safely operating delivery vehicles and equipment and to insure the accurate and timely delivery of product.
The position is responsible for complying with all company safety policies, practices and procedures.
Job Duties: Drives tractor trailer to transport and off-load product between breweries and company facilities.
Complies with all federal and state transportation laws.
Exercises care with equipment and ensues accuracy of delivery.
Delivers shipments and transfers in good condition without damages.
Completes and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or company policy.
Professional appearance representing the Company to include uniform and good personal hygiene.
Adheres to work schedule pulling loads as scheduled on the weekly worksheet.
Work with all Company Warehouse Managers on pulling dunnage back to the Brewery.
Turn in Bill-of-Lading or transfer paperwork on all shipments at final warehouse destination to Warehouse Manager of that location.
List the time that you leave the Brewery on the Bill-of-Lading.
Drives safely and efficiently in hazardous road conditions and utilizes his/her common sense and experience to assess the safety of road conditions.
Attends all safety training classes and periodic safety meetings as required.
Performs pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and turn in weekly to Denton Warehouse Operations Manger.
Identifies any maintenance action that may be required on transporting vehicle, and acts appropriately if action is needed.
Pull scheduled maintenance on equipment as required for preventative maintenance.
Reports all collisions, possible injuries, and driving citations immediately to Manager.
Maintain vehicle in clean and fueled readiness condition.
Turn in load log of all deliveries made to Manager for payroll.
Inform Inventory Analyst of delays at the Brewery of shipment of product.
Give a notice to Inventory Analyst of any schedule conflicts.
Transfer all mail/payroll or materials to other company facilities when requested.
Request Purchase Order numbers from Accounts Payable on all charges with management approval.
Ability to perform light maintenance while on the road.
Applies knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations such as narrow passageways, dusty, snowy and icy conditions.
Works cooperatively with manager and warehouse staff to ensure prompt and accurate delivery.
Improves operations regarding distribution efficiency, teamwork with the warehouse team, accuracy of paperwork, and warehouse support on a continuing basis.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Clean driving record with a Class A CDL license.
Successful completion AND passing of DOT written regulations and road tests.
DMV record cannot exceed two moving violations and/or preventable accidents in the last three years.
Valid TABC License.
Ability to work with computer programs associated with the performance of the position.
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
Decision making, thoroughness and time management a must.
Able to work independently and as an effective member of a team.
Knowledge of geographic areas.
Working knowledge of current DOT regulations.
Requires knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation.
Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
Ability to pass a background investigation and physical, drug and alcohol test.
Prior beer industry experience preferred.
Prior Haul Road experience preferred.
