The Service Technician will be responsible for installing and repairing propane tanks and on an as-needed basis delivering propane and filling tanks for residential, commercial and industrial customers.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along provided service routes Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customersInstall new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customersOn an as-needed basis, perform Delivery Representative functions, such as delivering bulk or canister propanePerform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and ProceduresConsistent use of required Personal Protective EquipmentQualifications Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have a valid CDL A or B licenseHazmat and Tanker Endorsements requiredor willing to obtainMust have a minimum of 6 months CDL driving experience with a clean driving recordMust have previous employment experience working with hand toolsPrevious HVAC, Plumbing, Maintenance, or Mechanical experience preferredPropane industry experience is a plusWillingness to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to load/unload 50-pound cylinders (up to 200/day) and pull 75-pound hoses that are 150 feet or moreSatisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background checkHiring Radius: Drivers must live within 35 miles of Big Piney, WYwith nomore than a 45-minute commute, or be willing to relocate for this position AmeriGas is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
