Position Objectives and Responsibilities
The primary function is to provide support to the field crews by delivering machinery and equipment in a timely manner.
Proper coupling and uncoupling of lowbed trailers Transport materials and equipment as directed. Observe all traffic laws and maintain safe operations given road, traffic, and weather conditions. Safely load, secure, and unload construction equipment, generators, trenches, large objects, etc.
without assistance. Maintain clean, presentable truck and trailer. Report any mechanical issues to the Equipment Manager in a timely manner. Accurately complete required paperwork daily. Must be willing to attend classes and training provided by the company. Laborers will perform physical tasks such as: Cleaning, removing debris, loading, and unloading materials Assembling and disassembling temporary structures Assisting skilled craftspeople with their duties.
They perform a variety of duties involving tool use, lifting, and carrying to provide support and aid to the skilled craftspeople on-site. Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements and Qualifications
CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement driver's license required. Must pass DOT physical and drug test and company background check. Prior experience required Must be willing to work outdoors in any weather conditions. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Flexibility regarding schedule, working early and/or extended, on-call hours, weekends and holidays when required. Candidate must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise level, (PPE will be provided, including hearing protection as required), long hours driving, sitting, walking, and laboring outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to frequently lift to 60 pounds.
